HIROKO TAKEDA: "Gathering 2017"

7,000.00

Hiroko Takeda is a New York-based textile artist and designer from Japan. In her sculptural and painterly idiom of weaving, Takeda explores the capacities of material, structure, and craft to create intimacy, resonance, and depth. Using traditional and experimental approaches, work by Takeda conveys incongruous harmonies and deep sensitivities.

"Gathering, 2017" is a new artwork in Hiroko’s Giant Waffle series of deeply structured yarn paintings, with notions of spring and fall in a unified composition.
