The High Ground Collection…

is a line of upholstery fabrics created by textile artist Hiroko Takeda for Egg Collective. Drawing on hand-weaving mastery and deep knowledge of material and craft, the collection showcases the textural beauty of mohair boucle and spun wool, and celebrates elegance in simplicity. Combining softness with durability and versatility, these understated designs complement and elevate the beauty of any setting, contemporary or heirloom.

Hiroko Takeda is a New York-based artist and designer from Japan. In her sculptural and painterly idiom of weaving, Takeda explores the capacity of material, structure and craft to realize her vision and ideas. Takeda’s art and design work has been commissioned by leading architects and is sought after by collectors worldwide.
